Kay can't remember a time when she didn’t experience pure joy at the process of envisioning, preparing and hosting events. As a little girl, she and her sister would endlessly watch movies like Runaway Bride, My Best Friend's Wedding and Father of the Bride. She was enamoured by the beauty and romance that surrounded weddings. Later on, hosting small dinner parties and large occasions at her home in Calgary, it has been in those moments that her heart is most fulfilled; through the joy and connection. Having shifted from logistical planning, Kay primarily works with couples on the design of their wedding day and brings their floral vision to life

And though Social+Co. has evolved over the years to include an incredible team, in-house floral design and leaning even further in to our signature design aesthetic, the concept has remained the same: to provide our couples with a tangible, visual and enjoyable wedding planning experience and to create trusting, comfortable and lasting relationships with our clients.

MEET RAVEN

Born and raised in Saskatoon, it wasn't a surprise when Raven married her sweetheart nestled in the heart of the Northern Saskatchewan Boreal Forest. It was an intimate celebration of love alongside cherished friends and family, valuing all of the things they hold closest to their hearts. Raven now hopes to create a similar experience for her couples surrounding them with joy, love, elegance, and a sense of calm and trust on their wedding day.

With a background in corporate finance, Raven values staying within budget, checking things off your 'to do' list and keeping your planning timeline on track!

MEET CHAR

Having been a S+C. bride herself, Charmaine is an invaluable member of the team. Handling everything behind the scenes she welcomes our couples and takes them through the administrative side of working with a wedding planning team. In addition to working with our couples, Char is currently an MD/PhD Candidate at The University of Calgary (Leaders in Medicine, Neuroscience). 

Charmaine and her husband, Ben, were married in twenty eighteen. You can usually find them together in the kitchen, biking around the city or enjoying local eats and craft beer!

STUDIO MANAGER

Our team is comprised of talented designers, florists, and coordinators dedicated to making your vision a reality. While your day to day correspondence will be with Kay or one of our Lead Planners, it takes a team to bring your vision to life. We work with talented teams of vendors to create every detail of your wedding and we pride ourselves in pairing you with the perfect creative team.
